Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site

Brunswick Town, a Colonial site dating from 1726-1776 served as a Cape fear River Port that was the major export of naval stores and was the location of the Stamp Act Rebellion. Fort Anderson was a Confederate fortification, which was part of the Cape Fear Defense System until the Civil War engagement of February 1865. The archaeological remains of colonial Brunswick can be viewed along with the massive earthen fort of Anderson and the original flag flow over Ft. Anderson in 1865.

Ingram Planetarium

85-seat domed theater and science exhibit hall. Theater programs about astronomy, energy, navigation, and space exploration. The Paul Dennis Science Hall exhibits feature math and science activities. Sky event programs, telescope viewing, astronomy club and holiday programs.

Museum of Coastal Carolina

Natural history museum with educational programs, lecture series, field trips, children's programs, and live reptile and turtle information programs. The Ocean Reef, life-size models of turtle information programs. The Green Swamp Diorama features alligators, bobcats and foxes. All species of Carolinas ducks and geese are displayed in the projectile points, dugout canoes and reproduction of ancient tools.

BCC Odell Williamson Auditorium

1,500 seat state of the art auditorium on the campus of Brunswick Community College. Home of the Brunswick Little Theatre group as well as a full concert series.
